Moving Towards An Intelligent Enterprise

Updated: Oct 10, 2022

Most companies will already have accounting or enterprise resource planning software. But are we just making use of the software to store data and churn out documents or reports only? Can we further extend the current solution to help us solve pressing issues which arise from exceptional events such as COVID resulting in working from home or movement control?

Below is one example of extending the function of SAP Business One for users to attach service reports using mobile phone and thereby reduce travelling time back office to submit the documents. Billing department will be notified promptly by email to begin invoice to cash process. If you want to know more, please contact us at for more discussion.

Benefits of the Simple Solution

· User does not need to travel to office to submit signed service forms

· Signed service forms are attached automatically to sales order/ purchase order and it is electronically stored. If user needs to refer it, it can be easily found or called from SAP system

· Billing can be done faster as billing team will be notified by email proactively

Of course, there is no one way to solve a problem. Companies can create mobile app to e-sign and trigger the invoice automatically to customers after e-signing of service forms is done but cost of doing mobile apps may easily be 10 times more than a simple solution. Intelligent automation is not totally about saving manpower but to provide convenience with cost effectiveness to the company as a whole.
